If you are submitting mixed-species samples, please go to isolation service. After obtaining pure cultures from isolation process, our staff will inform you to submit an identification service request.
If you are submitting pure cultures, you can directly submit an identification service request. For bacterial genome sequence analysis service, 16S rDNA sequence data are required to be submitted with the sample. If you do not have the data, please request single gene sequence analysis service first.

Service detail

TBRC accepts:
- most groups of bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi for single gene sequence analysis;
- only bacteria for genome sequence analysis; and
- only bacteria and yeasts for MALDI-TOF identification.
TBRC does not accept isolates of patient or diseased animal origins. TBRC does not accept isolates of diseased plant origins from overseas.
