Bacterial profiling analysis

Culture-independent approach via targeted 18S rRNA metabarcoding sequencing has greatly allowed us to get closer to the hidden world of eukaryotic cells. With the application of metabarcoding analysis, accurate overview of eukaryotic community structures from a wide range of environmental niches has been explored to broaden our understanding of complex eukaryotic ecology.

What we can do for our collaborators

Step 1

DNAs are carefully extracted to obtained high quality genetic material from samples.

Step 2

Once DNAs have been extracted, they are used as DNA template to amplify the 18S rRNA gene. This molecular fingerprint marker provides phylogenetic information of eukaryotic cells. To this end, nucleotide sequences of the amplified amplicons are determined by high-throughput sequencing technology.

Step 3

Large quantities of data produced by sequencing are primarily processed through quality checking process. High quality sequences are clustered and matched to the reference database. Finally, we can provide you with trustworthy information of bacterial community structures. Also, relevant biostatistics is calculated to strengthen your valuable outputs.
